TRAVIS'S BABY BACK RIBS

TRAVIS'S BABY BACK RIBS

Rub the meet good with butter on both sides to keep the meat moist and make the rub stick.

For the rub we used :
Chef Paul Prudhommes Magic BBQ Seasoning
Nature's Supreme Flavor Mate Southwest 7 pepper seasoning
Grill Mates Pork Rub
(You can use any seasonings you prefer or have on hand)

Rub both sides good and then wrap in aluminum foil and refridgerate over night in a 9x13 glass casserole dish. (Do not use aluminum)

In the morning, preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Add a little water to the bottom of the pan and cook for 6 hours, checking every so often that the bottom of the dish has a little water.

After cooking in oven for 6 hours, put on the smoker for 30 minutes to give it a good smoked taste, then slather one side with your favorite bbq sauce (we used Sweet Baby Rays) and put bbq sauce side down on the grill and slather the side facing up with more sauce. Grill both sides 10 minutes each or until sauce is thick and yummy looking ENJOY!!

You can skip smoking the ribs and go straight to the grill or you can finish in the oven and add the bbq sauce to each side when you flip it in the oven.
